Customers must be a minimum of 18 years old to order via the webshop. Simson Power Tools reserves the right to deny or change a customer’s order, for example if the customer has provided incorrect personal data.
The prices stated on the webshop apply to orders placed on the webshop. All prices are presented in United States dollars and exclude sales tax. The prices do not include shipping fees, which are given separately during the checkout process.
While Simson Power Tools always strive to keep all products in stock, we shall have no liability in case products are temporarily sold out or otherwise unavailable, nor for image or typographical errors on the webshop, e.g. errors in the product description or technical specification, inaccurate prices and price adjustments or incorrect information with regards to whether a product is in stock.
To place an order through the webshop, the customer must accept these general conditions.
For invoicing: When ordering product/s from us, we collect company and personal information (for example company name, first and last name, billing and shipping address and e-mail address) in order to complete the order and invoice for the product/s.
For sending newsletters: The e-mail address we collect when ordering is used to send out newsletters to you as a customer. You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time through the unsubscribe link that you find in each newsletter.
For use in our CRM: The company and personal information you submit will be stored securely in our CRM (Customer Relationship Management) software and in our e-commerce platform to facilitate contact with you and your company, and to enable ordering of products.
A purchase agreement is concluded when Simson Power Tools has confirmed the customer’s order and the customer has received an order confirmation from Simson Power Tools via e-mail. We encourage the customer to save the order confirmation for any future contacts with Simson Power Tools customer service regarding the order.
All payments are handled by PayPal with strict security measures in mind. We accept all major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover) as well as PayPal accounts.
Simson Power Tools may, from time to time, provide special offers, coupon codes and/or discounts on the webshop which may have more favourable conditions than those set forth in these general conditions, e.g. with regard to prices. Such conditions will apply for the duration of the special offer and for the specific products. Simson Power Tools reserves the right, at any time, to withdraw such special offers.
Products in stock are normally dispatched the business day after an order takes place, and will be delivered within the number of working days set forth in the shipping options during the checkout.
Unless otherwise expressly agreed, and if a delivery is delayed for more than 30 working days and it is not due to you as customer, you are entitled to cancel the purchase.
Simson Power Tools is very proud to deliver high quality products and is therefore offering a 3 year warranty period, starting from the date of product delivery.
The warranty will only cover original manufacturing defects and accordingly not any fault arising upon or after any individual changes of the product’s function and appearance, e.g. rebuilding, upgrading or other configuration of the product. The customer’s order confirmation constitutes the certificate of warranty.
Any customer who wishes to file a complaint for any product ordered shall contact Simson Power Tools, as soon as possible after discovering the defect using the contact information on this webshop. Simson Power Tools will assume the cost for the return freight for any approved complaints.
We store company and personal information as long as you are a customer with us, or as long as applicable regulation requires, e.g. for accounting purposes.
Simson Power Tools is not liable for any delays caused by circumstances beyond our control, e.g. general labour dispute, extreme weather, acts of God, acts of war, fire, lightning, terrorist attacks, changed governmental orders, technical problems, defects in power-/tele-/computer communications or other communication and defects or delays in the service by sub-suppliers due to circumstances set forth above.
Such circumstances shall result in relief from damages and other measures. If any such situation should arise, Simson Power Tools shall inform the customer accordingly both at the beginning and the end of the period for the current situation. If the situation has lasted for more than two months, both the customer and Simson Power Tools are entitled to terminate the purchase with immediate effect.
The webshop and all its content is owned by Simson Power Tools. The information is protected by intellectual property and marketing legislation. This means that trademarks, company names, product names, images and graphics, design, layout and information about products, services and other content may not be copied or used without the prior written consent of Simson Power Tools.
These Terms & Conditions are effective as of January 27, 2020 and will remain in effect except with respect to any changes in its provisions in the future, which will be in effect immediately after being posted on this page.
We reserve the right to update or change our Terms & Conditions at any time and you should therefore check these Terms & Conditions periodically. Your continued use of the webshop after we post any modifications to the Terms & Conditions on this page will constitute your acknowledgment of the modifications and your consent to abide and be bound by the modified Terms & Conditions.
If we make any material changes to these Terms & Conditions, we will notify you either through the email address you have provided us, or by placing a prominent notice on our website.
